Javier Alejandro Martinez was born in Argentina in the springtime of 1969. He currently lives in Turin, and it was because of this that I was lucky enough to meet him, through having a common workplace. My first encounter with his work was in encountering his professional and unpersonal drawings, but afterwards I was able to discover his more peculiar artworks, his personal and minute world of enchanted and terrifying incubus, full of the most tiny and scaring detail. At the moment it seems that he is firstly dreaming and then at once giving detailed accounts about the obsessive nightmares that involves the mezzanine where he is living with his special "amore" Luciana. And Javy is also a wonderful cook, specializing in cosmic-cuisine!
