The video-art group "KIDDDZ" is founded in January 1999. Firstly , we decided
to realise short videos, but afterwards we felt the need to mix the situations created
in the videos with real situations and we decided to co-operate with artists and
art galleries. So the video expression is not any more represented by a fragment
of story delimitated from a beginning and an ending, projected in the dark of the
cinema for few minutes, but it becames a neverending loop that creates and
completes atmospheres, wraps the spectators and the artworks; thanks to
video-installations it becames itsefl artistical expression inside the art gallery.
Now it is three years that KIDDDZ are evolving and experimenting, and softly,
without having planned it, the elevation of this interaction between video, music,
art, and public, brought as to a natural cohoperation with djs and clubs, making
us interpreting the music and the nightlife with our imaginative.

KIDDDZ VIDEO ART AND SHORT MOVIES  

- 1/3- 06- 1999: Video "9:30" describes a special morning where nobody wants to wake up.
- November 1999: "Bio Dog" video-installation in the art gallery "DECOH", Viale Montello n°7,
Milano. This video is about a weird documentary of a dog of nowdays, watched by
futuristic and cyber dogs. Sculptures of Alberto Carone and Sergio Ancona. Duration 3' 50"
- January 2000: "Sposa 2000" is a video-installation for 'Atelier Provasoli Moda" and it is an ironic
short video about wedding, an elaboration of B-movies and fanta-horror movies of the '50s-'60s.
- April 2000: "KIDDDZ" are selected for the 2000 edition of BIG , Biennale dei giovani artisti del
Mediterraneo with the video "VETRO", duration 3'.
- 28-06- 2000: "VETRO" gets the special prize for graphics at the 2nd editiion of "Comincio da tre".
- Giugno 2000: "Ricerca Multimaterica"is a video-installation at gallery "Format C:", Via Cosmo 13,
Torino, for the 2000 collection of fashion accessories of stylist Maria Bonavita.
- 31-01-2001: "Fractaltown" (3 minutes) gets the special prize at "Valsusa Film Festival 2001"
- June 2001: our shortmovies are projected at the GAM, Modern Art Gallery,V. Magenta,Torino.
- November 2001 :projection of KIDDDZ shortmovies for the opening of the multimedia
classes at Dams Universita' di Torino.
- 17-11-2000: the short video "VETRO" is selected for the 18th edition of "Torino Film Festival".
